Which mesh errors are repaired?
Inverted normals, bad edges, and overlapping or intersecting triangles.
Are problem files rejected?
No. You decide: show a warning, block the price or send the part to a manual quote.
Which files are checked?
Every STEP and STL file uploaded through your widget.
Why is STEP better than STL for CNC quotes?
STEP stores exact geometry such as true circles and planes, which suits machining. STL approximates surfaces with triangles, so it fits 3D printing better, though SeekMake accepts both for CNC.
Which features are hard to machine?
Deep narrow pockets, sharp internal corners and thin walls usually need small tools or extra setups, which add time. SeekMake flags features that are hard to make when the file is uploaded.
Which files can customers upload?
STEP and STL files. The part is checked and measured automatically when it is uploaded.
How much does SeekMake cost?
