Is the price an estimate or a real quote?
It is a real quote based on your rates. The customer can add it to the cart and order it.
What does the calculator take into account?
The inputs you control: material, size or volume, machine time, setup, finishes and quantity breaks.
Can I hide the price for some parts?
Yes. You can send parts outside your rules to a manual quote request instead of showing a price.
Why does a small laser part with many holes cost more?
Each hole means a pierce and extra cut length, which adds machine time. Pricing on machine time reflects that, while a price per square metre does not.
How are very small laser orders priced?
Setup is part of your rates, so small orders carry their share of handling and machine setup. Quantity breaks then lower the unit price as the batch grows.
Which files can customers upload?
DXF and STEP files. The part is checked and measured automatically when it is uploaded.
How much does SeekMake cost?
