Is the price an estimate or a real quote?
It is a real quote based on your rates. The customer can add it to the cart and order it.
What does the calculator take into account?
The inputs you control: material, size or volume, machine time, setup, finishes and quantity breaks.
Can I hide the price for some prints?
Yes. You can send parts outside your rules to a manual quote request instead of showing a price.
Does the calculator change price when the customer picks a different infill or layer height?
If you add infill or layer height as options in the widget, each choice can be priced from your rules, so the price updates when the customer changes it.
Can the calculator add a price for sanding or painting?
Yes. Post-processing and finishes are customizable options, each with its own pricing, so finishing work shows up in the price before the customer orders.
Which files can customers upload?
STL, OBJ and 3MF files. The print is checked and measured automatically when it is uploaded.
