In sheet metal, a file can be technically valid and still unmakeable: holes too close to a bend, flanges too short for your tooling, or a DXF with open contours. Catching these at upload spares you a round of emails with the buyer. The check runs before the price is shown, so obvious issues are flagged while the customer is still on the page.

Which mesh errors are repaired?
Inverted normals, bad edges, and overlapping or intersecting triangles.
Are problem files rejected?
No. You decide: show a warning, block the price or send the part to a manual quote.
Which files are checked?
Every STEP and DXF file uploaded through your widget.
Can I still quote a part that was flagged?
Yes. A flag does not have to block the request. Parts that the rules can't price go to a manual quote request that you price from the dashboard.
Does the check measure the part size against my sheet limits?
The check measures the part on upload, and you control which options and sizes your rules accept, so parts outside what you offer can be routed to manual review.
Which files can customers upload?
STEP and DXF files. The part is checked and measured automatically when it is uploaded.
