Is the price an estimate or a real quote?
It is a real quote based on your rates. The customer can add it to the cart and order it.
What does the calculator take into account?
The inputs you control: material, size or volume, machine time, setup, finishes and quantity breaks.
Can I hide the price for some prints?
Yes. You can send parts outside your rules to a manual quote request instead of showing a price.
Can the calculator add a cost for dyeing parts black?
Yes. Dyeing is a finishing option with its own price, so the customer sees the difference between grey natural and dyed black before ordering.
Should the calculator include a start-up charge?
Many MJF shops add a fixed charge per order or per part to cover file preparation and handling. You set that value in your rules and it is added to each calculated price.
Which files can customers upload?
STL, OBJ and 3MF files. The print is checked and measured automatically when it is uploaded.
How much does SeekMake cost?
