What is the biggest cost driver?
Usually material and machine time. Setup matters most on small batches.
How do I set quantity breaks?
Spread setup over the batch and lower the unit price at the quantities your customers order most.
Can I automate this?

How should I account for powder that can't be reused?
MJF mixes recovered powder with fresh powder for each build, so part of the material is used up. Many shops build that loss into their price per cm³ rather than show it as a separate line.
Should dyeing be priced per part or per batch?
Dyeing runs in batches, so many shops charge per part with a minimum per order. That stops a single dyed part being priced below the cost of a dye run.
Which files can customers upload?
STL, OBJ and 3MF files. The print is checked and measured automatically when it is uploaded.
