A bent part is effectively quoted twice: once for the flat blank that is cut, and once for the press brake time. Bend count, tool changes and part size decide most of the brake cost. Unfolding the part to its flat pattern from the file means both the cutting and the bending cost are based on the real geometry rather than a guess.

Do I set my own prices?
Yes. You set material costs, machine rates, setup charges, finishes and margins. SeekMake applies them to every quote.
What happens if a part can't be priced automatically?
The customer can send a manual quote request from the cart. You price it yourself and send it back from your dashboard.
Does it work on my current website?
Yes. You add the quote widget to any page of your site, or use the WordPress plugin or the Shopify app.
How is press brake setup charged on small batches?
Setup is one of your rates, so it is spread over the quantity the customer orders. Small batches carry more setup per part, just as they do on the shop floor.
Can I price bent parts in different materials?
Yes. Material and thickness are pricing inputs, so each one carries the rates you set.
Which files can customers upload?
STEP and DXF files. The part is checked and measured automatically when it is uploaded.
