SLS needs no supports, but files still fail in other ways: open meshes, flipped normals, walls too thin to sinter, and hollow bodies with no hole for powder to escape. Finding these after a build is planned costs a slot in the bed. Each upload is measured and checked, common STL errors are repaired, and features that are hard to make are flagged before the part is priced or printed.

Which mesh errors are repaired?
Inverted normals, bad edges, and overlapping or intersecting triangles.
Are problem files rejected?
No. You decide: show a warning, block the price or send the part to a manual quote.
Which files are checked?
Every STL, OBJ and 3MF file uploaded through your widget.
Why do hollow SLS parts need escape holes?
Unsintered powder stays trapped inside a closed hollow body. An escape hole lets it be removed, otherwise the part is heavier and the powder is lost.
Is the part volume measured on upload?
Yes. Volume and bounding box are measured from the file, and both are main inputs to an SLS price.
Which files can customers upload?
STL, OBJ and 3MF files. The print is checked and measured automatically when it is uploaded.
How much does SeekMake cost?
